“we started as a wine pop up in manchester circa 2015… now almost 10 years on leamington is our home”
Lola provisions started it’s life as Love & Labour in Manchester. Katie and James left London to seek a slightly slower speed of life. Manchester was the perfect fit, they started a pop up business selling natural wine and putting on evenings full of wine, cheese & delicious pickles and food. Between them they managed some of the best restaurants and coffee shops in the city and in 2019 the newly married couple moved back to the midlands (Katie’s home) to have their first baby and be near family.
2020 came and the world stopped and, like many, the new family decided life could like look different. So in July 2020 Lola provisions was opened. At the time a takeaway coffee shop and bottle store, then slowly adding seats and becoming an evening hub for natural wine and easy food.
Almost 5 years on, and leamington is a bustling town full of evening spots selling natural wine and open late in the evening. Katie and James had the surprise of a lifetime in 2023 when discovering they were pregnant with twins and a long story later Lola is back to being a sort of version of it’s 2020 self. Open in the mornings, offering coffee, lunch and pastries and still with a gorgeous selection of wine on the shelves. The family business is going strong and now with Katie at the forefront, it’s focus has turned to daytime deliciousness to work with their young family.
